About the Role
- Support residents who can't move on their own (manual handling)
- Assist residents in their daily activities such as dressing, bathing, eating etc
- Provide emotional support
- Ensure residents to receive their medication on time (competency dependant)
- Make a difference to residents in providing exemplary care
- Work collaboratively within teams
- Willingness to learn and interact with new people and systems
- Strict adherence to facility and governmental accreditation standards
Successful applicants will possess the following:
- Demonstrate a willingness to provide exceptional person-centred care and support to residents
- Exceptional time management and customer service skills
- Manual handling certificate
- Value teamwork and collaboration
- Exhibit a passion for making a different in the lives of residents
- Aged care experience (highly regarded)
- Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (or similar) or be working towards nursing certification (must have completed either aged care/acute placement)
- Current National Police Check
- Current COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations
- A positive "can-do" attitude
- Kitchen, laundry or housekeeping skills are highly regarded.
